An $11,000,000 Settlement has been reached in a class action antitrust lawsuit filed on behalf of End-User Plaintiffs with International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc. (“IFF” or “Settling Defendant”). This Settlement does not dismiss legal claims against other Defendants in the lawsuit In re Fragrance End-User Plaintiff Antitrust Litigation, Case No. 2:23-cv-16127-WJM-JSA.
The lawsuit alleges IFF and Defendants Givaudan SA; Givaudan Fragrances Corporation; Ungerer & Company, Inc.; Custom Essence LLC; DSM-Firmenich AG; Firmenich International SA; Firmenich Inc.; Agilex Flavors & Fragrances, Inc.; Symrise AG; Symrise Inc.; and Symrise US LLC (together, “Defendants”) conspired to fix prices of Fragrance Products in violation of federal and state antitrust laws. IFF denies any wrongdoing.
In addition to the $11,000,000 Settlement, IFF has also agreed to certain non-monetary relief and to provide specified cooperation in the End-User Plaintiffs’ continued pursuit of the lawsuit. There will be no payments to the Settlement Class at this time. You may be notified later of an opportunity to file a Claim Form.

The Court must decide whether to approve the Settlement and the requested attorneys’ Fee Award and Costs. No Settlement Benefits will be provided unless the Court approves the Settlement.
